Just rewatched this for the “Uy!s” and tantalizing if unconvincing wiggles. Not many would choreograph a video around an Art Deco cactus and the languid dramatics of the half-hearted pelvic thrust.
I concluded this time around—as Jacques removes his blazer and shakes his maracas—that he might be Stephen Merchant’s dandified French prickle-dodging uncle. This pleased me.
