Here’s a happy news piece to marry our heists and complicated knots that end well, and with great charm. Emma Thompson’s mum, Phyllida Law, has been returned her stolen gargoyles. Yes, Phyllida, gargoyles.
And, she got them back by “posting a warning on her shrubs” announcing that she had put a curse on the thief. The gargoyles returned home with a note saying “Help me please. I have been very, very ill since I stole these. Please lift the curse.”
Phyllida put up a new sign on the shrubbery reading “All curses lifted.”
Perhaps we should also post our requests to our shrubs?
